"Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better".
-King Whitney Jr.
CultureNmotion.org was created to address the need for a greater awareness of the perspectives of diverse learners in physical activity and sport using culturally responsive practices as a foundation for discourse.

This site includes information on the rationale for equitable practices in physical activity environments along with methods by which to accomplish these goals, with particular emphasis on educational settings. It is important to mention that this information is not necessarily affiliated with any state, national, or international guidelines for physical education or sport. Instead, it seeks to take existing and substantiated research and theory in the aformentioned subjects and explore possible strategies which could lead to successful outcomes for diverse learners. CultureNmotion is a work in progress. Check back often!
